Good value for feed

I was looking for some affordable Geflügelfutter and found Lyra Pet. The bulk price was really good compared to other places I checked. Shipping wasn't super fast, but it was free, which definitely saved me some money. For the amount I got, it felt like a really good deal. My chickens are happy, and so is my wallet.

My cats love it!

Oh my goodness, I just had to share how much my cats loved the Katzenfutter Nass I ordered! They usually turn their noses up at new brands, but they devoured this stuff. The delivery was quick too. I'm definitely coming back for more, and I've already told my friend about Lyra Pet. So happy with this purchase!

Decent, but slow shipping

I bought a big bag of Hundefutter Trocken. The quality seems pretty good, and my dog has been eating it without any issues. The price was competitive, especially for the size. However, the shipping took a bit longer than I expected, around 8 days to reach me. It wasn't a huge problem since I ordered in advance, but something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product itself and the value.

Reliable for bird food

This isn't my first time ordering from Lyra Pet. I consistently get my Wildvogelfutter here, and this time I opted for the Mehlwürmer getrocknet. Just like before, the quality is good, and the packaging holds up well during shipping. Delivery was pretty consistent with past orders, about 5 days. It's why I keep coming back; they're reliable for what I need for the wild birds.

Good bird seed

I got some Sonnenblumenkerne gestreift for the birds a few weeks ago. It was a decent amount for the price. Delivery took about a week, which was fine. The birds seem to like it, so I'm happy with how it turned out.

Hey, thinking of getting a big bag of sunflower seeds for the birds. Anyone know how long shipping usually takes to say, California?

T Troy 3 months ago

I'm in Florida, and my last order took about 10 days. I'd expect something similar for California.

They're based in Germany, so it's not super fast. I've gotten stuff in a week and a half before, but sometimes it's closer to two. Just plan ahead if you're running low.

Are these guys legit? Like, is the pet food good quality or is it some cheap stuff from who-knows-where?

C Carly 3 months ago

I've been ordering their bird seed for ages, it's always fresh and the birds love it. Never had an issue with quality.

They seem pretty reputable. My cat food orders have been fine, and my fussy eater actually likes it. They're a German company so I trust their standards more than some random online store.

I got a newsletter signup discount, but I also have a code from a seasonal sale. Can I use both on the same order?

D David Walsh 2 months ago

Nah, usually you can only use one code at a time with them. Tried that before, didn't work.

Pretty sure most online stores are like that, one coupon per purchase. You gotta pick the better discount.

how are the returns if something goes wrong? Like if a toy is busted or the food bag gets ripped?

D Dan Marsh 2 months ago

Returns were actually pretty straightforward for me. Had a damaged bag once, contacted them and they sorted it out without too much fuss.

I haven't had to return anything myself, but I know they have a return policy. Just follow the instructions on their site, it seemed clear enough when I glanced at it.

Thinking of buying a huge amount of wild bird feed. Do they do bulk discounts or anything for big orders?

R Rosa 2 months ago

Yep, they definitely do. I always buy in bulk and the price per kilo goes down a fair bit. Look for the 'Mengenrabatt' on the product pages.

I Ivy 2 months ago

Oh absolutely! That's kinda their thing. You save a lot if you stock up, especially on the bird seed. I've seen it mentioned in their FAQs too.
